OUR STORY

Hello, I am Seçil.

I founded The Goatz Candles in 2021 in Çanakkale. My goal was not only to make candles; it was also to bring imagination and art together in each product. Inspired by the pure materials that nature offers us, I produce handmade and vegan candles using 100% soy wax.

With their colourful patterns and unique painting techniques, my products are far from ordinary and each one tells its own story. This collection, which I call the Pop Up Series, offers an artistic experience that stimulates the imagination of my customers and takes them beyond everyday life.

Sustainability is an indispensable value for me. For this reason, I take care to minimise our ecological footprint by using production processes that respect nature and the environment. Each candle comes to life with my handcraftsmanship and creates peace and happiness in your home with my artistic touches.

For me, each candle is not only a source of light, but also a source of peace and inspiration that I bring to your home. As The Goatz Candles, I hope that each product I create with my hand labour will add a little happiness to your life.

FROM MORTAR TO CONCRET

A special mortar is used in the construction of our concrete containers. This mortar is designed to increase the durability of concrete containers with its special formulation. This special mortar ensures that the concrete containers take their form. The final shaped containers are left to dry, harden and become durable.

FROM CONCRETE TO ART

The mortars, which are left to dry, now turn into a solid concrete container. After the concrete containers have dried, the carefully prepared designs are transferred to the concrete container by hand drawing.

NON-FADING PATTERNS, DURABLE CONTAINERS

After the patterns are drawn and dried, the containers are ready for finishing. They are protected with varnish specially developed for concrete containers. Thus, the containers, which also strengthen their impermeability, are ready to colour your home with their unique patterns that do not fade outside.

COLOURFUL, FUN AND UNIQUE

The concrete containers are filled with soya wax after varnishing and waiting for a sufficient time. The whole process, which is dominated by hand workmanship, is carried out in a way that respects the environment and nature. Natural soy waxes are now placed in colourful concrete containers. They are packed in environmentally friendly packaging and ready for ordering.
